Overview
Morning in the Taourirt Kasbah — once the seat of the Glaoui in Ouarzazate — then a 4x4 run out to the palm-shaded oasis of Fint, hidden in a volcanic-rock valley where few coaches reach.
Taourirt Kasbah sits in the heart of Ouarzazate, a labyrinth of earthen towers and rooms that belonged to the Glaoui clan who controlled the southern caravan routes. We explore the restored quarters and the surrounding old town before heading out of the city.
Fint Oasis lies a rough 4x4 track away — a ribbon of date palms and small Berber villages cut into dark volcanic rock, fed by a year-round stream. We walk a stretch of the palmeraie, meet a family for tea, and have lunch by the water before returning. It's a gentle, scenic day that pairs the town's grandest kasbah with the countryside most visitors miss.

Frequently asked
Questions about this tour.
Is the Fint Oasis track suitable for everyone?
Yes — it's a bumpy but short 4x4 piste, not a hike. Once at the oasis the walking is flat and gentle along the palm groves. Tell us in advance about mobility needs and we'll adapt the day.
Can I change the dates or itinerary?
Yes. Every itinerary is a starting point. Add a day, swap a kasbah, change the start point — we'll re-quote in 24 hours and lock the price in writing before any deposit.
How fit do I need to be?
Easy. Light walking on kasbah steps and earthen lanes, plus optional activities you can opt in or out of on the day.
When should I book?
For high season (Oct–Apr) and any trip involving the Sahara or the Rose Valley harvest, book 6–10 weeks ahead. Last-minute (under 14 days) is usually still possible with a phone call.
